Palm asked why VetMock ships slowly. Measured that day: no merge after 06:29 while six finished changes waited for the machine-wide lock (other projects' 35-45 min gates) or the 4 GB free-RAM floor; CI already runs everything the local gate runs plus WebKit, Firefox and Postgres, free on GitHub; and the local gate had not caught the recent red runs (#42 failed in a spec it never touched, #48 on WebKit, which the local gate does not run).
